The ability of UHPC prepared with unpurified sea sand and seawater to protect embedded steel against corrosion

Preparing concrete with unpurified sea sand and seawater is of great significance for the construction in coastal areas short river pure water. However, contain a lot chloride ions which may cause steel corrosion problems. In this paper, are used to prepare ultra-high performance (UHPC), potential differences between bars protective layer thickness 5mm 15mm Cu/CuSO 4 reference electrode under two types dry-wet cycle ion concentrations at different depths from UHPC specimen surface after 40 cycles tested, specimens broken observe embedded bars. The results show that prepared has good ability protect reinforcement against conditions lab.
